How to Coupon at Target

Do you want to learn to coupon at Target? We have answers to your top questions like: what’s so special about Target Red Card, what to look for in the weekly ad, how to find Target coupons, and what are the secrets behind Target clearance? We’ll show you the difference between Target cartwheel store and manufacturer coupons. Even how to get extra discounts when you create a Target registry.

Get the Target app and shop on Sunday when new deals go live.

Target deals go live weekly on Sundays. You should hop early for the best selection. And, download the Target app for coupons, also released on Sundays. Watch for occasional 50% off one-item coupons, sometimes valid for one day only!

Check out the Cartwheel section of the Target app for more than 500 coupons.

Click “Cartwheel Offers” from the home screen to access over 500 coupons inside the Target app.

Percent-off Target store coupons and stack dollar-off manufacturer coupons and

Target app has two types of “Cartwheel offers”. The first are dollar-off manufacturer coupons and the second are percent-off coupons. The very first big difference between them is the number of times each can be redeemed. Dollar-off manufacturer coupons are single-use and Percent-off coupons may be redeemed up to four times per transaction

In other words, if I’m buying four bags of cat litter, I will save 20% off each bag when I add one Cartwheel offer. But if I buy two Pampers Baby Dry diapers, I will only save $2.00 on one package when I add one $2 off Pampers manufacturer coupon.

Filter Target Cartwheel offers by discount and sort “near me.”

The most useful ways to sort Cartwheel offers are “by discount” and “Cartwheel offers near me.” Sorting by discount brings the highest-value offers to the top. And Cartwheel “near me” works by telling me which offers are available in the aisle I’m currently shopping. I just have to make sure I have location services enabled for the feature to work.

Complete Understanding of Dollar General Coupons

Below are some coupons provided in DG that you need to know

  • Store coupons: Sometimes you can find DG store coupons right in your Sunday newspaper inserts. Fortunately, hey will also print at the bottom of their store receipts randomly. You need to ake sure to sign up for their text coupon program just by texting the word SAVE to DGTXT, amazing right. You can have to check out their FB regularly for coupons too!

  • Digital coupons: Create a DG account to be able to access to hundreds of digital coupons (it is free to create an account!). Then you simply “clip” the coupons that you want, they will be saved to your account. After that, at checkout, you can simply enter the phone number that is connected to your account, and then the coupons will deduct automatically.
  • Please note that not all digital coupons you clip are store coupons. You might find some of them are manufacturer coupons. You will see the coupon will let you know if it is a store coupon or a manufacturer coupon which is by looking for a “M” to signify or the yellow and black DG in the corner.

  • $5 off $25 coupon: This DG coupon is released almost every Saturday, check it out! And is good for one day only. You can get it by making a purchase in the store, and then it will print at the bottom of your receipt. You can also simply login to your  DG account and just “clip” it for free. The cool part of this type of coupon coupon is that you can use it BEFORE manufacturer coupons.

  • Next is $3 off $15 Survey coupons: These are printed at the bottom of your receipt right after you buy something at DG for at least $15. Simply take the number and then complete the survey in order to get your code for $3 off $15. You need to note that these are limited to only 2 survey coupons per account monthly.

Note that: Dollar General GIVES Overage!

This is interesting! It means that if you have a coupon for an item exceeding the value of that item, then you can end up with an overage. You can see that there are many stores that will manually change the price of the coupon so that you get the item for free, but it prevents you from gaining an “overage.”
